My week

This week has been so busy with all sorts going on, but I have managed to hideaway for the odd hour or so in my craft room.

At the beginning of the week my One Christmas night Kanban kit arrived. Just like a kid at Christmas I couldn't wait to open my package and have a go. The quality and images are beautiful, and the cards are so easy to assemble.

Two of the mechanism cards will be going to my grand daughters, I haven't decided which two yet though.

Below you will see a couple of the cards that I have made.

Thank you so much for taking a look, and please feel free to leave a comment or follow my blog.

I hope you all have a good day and a lovely weekend.

Christmas is coming

Hello again, I must admit I have neglected my blog recently. I might well be on holiday from work but time is just passing me by at an alarming rate.

Over the last couple of days I have managed to make a few Christmas cards.

These cards have been made using the beautiful Kanban One Christmas night kit.

I do hope you like them and thank you for looking x

Shaggy Christmas Wreath

Last night I finished my latest project of a Shaggy Christmas Wreath.
The wreath is made by shaping a metal coat hanger into a circle, don't cut the hook off.
I then cut 1 inch by 6 inch length of material and tide them close together on the hanger.
I then cut 1 large star and 2 small stars, used my sewing machine to embroider snowflakes on them, sewed and gently stuffed them.
Thee hearts are all the same size and I sewed a button in the centre of them.
Attached the stars and hearts to the wreath. I sewed them on but you could hot glue them.
Forgot to say that for the hook I attached double sided tape to 2 of the cut strips and wrapped them tightly round.
If you struggle with anything please contact me.
