On Saturday I decided to have a trip out to Inspiation crafts in Preston. This was the first time I had been and was going on a good friends advice, thank you Maureen. While I was there I spotted some beautifully painted wooden items. After receiving some fantastic advise and help from one of the shop assistance (Sue), I was able to buy the correct items to achieve the desired look.
Paint Fussion is for me I love it and it is so easy.
Below is my very first attempt at paint fusion.
Before starting I read and watched on the WEB as much information about techniques etc that Sheena Douglass has very kindly provided.
To make the heart plaque I firstly crackled the background to give it that aged look.
I then stamped my image on ( Sheena Douglass Fushia stamp set).
Finally I started to paint in the image using the paint fusion technique (very easy to do).
To add a little sparkle I embossed some swirls on to the heart.
Stunning Beth, I love the beautiful heart plaque. I look forward to seeing more of you paint fusion creations.

Well done Beth, this is absolutely gorgeous
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful, Beth. I Love the image and the colours. This is something that I have wanted to do for a long while, well from the first time I saw Sheena demo it on TV. I haven't got round to it yet, but it is on my things to do. Wendy xx
